Katha Sonaniskar Deshmukh

With a Master’s in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Staffordshire University, UK, she works with athletes between the ages of 10 and 25, from young beginners to elite performers.

Unique Approach: Her approach is structured and science-backed but also rooted in empathy and real-world experience. She believes every athlete has a unique journey, and mental training should reflect that. She also believes that athletes thrive when the people around them, parents, coaches, strength trainers work as a team. Part of her work involves helping this support system become more aligned, communicative, and effective, because real progress happens when everyone is on the same page.

Abhishek Jha

Location: Naval Tata Hockey Academy, Jamshedpur
With a Master’s degree in Sports Psychology from Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar, he has worked as the lead sports psychologist for five Yuva Kabaddi Series editions facilitating the improvement of performance for over 600 professional kabaddi players from all over India by offering customized mental training
programs and group workshops.

Unique Approach: He conducts regular individual and group sessions with hockey athletes and travels with
the team for national tournaments and camps. He is a Scottish FA and an AIFF “D”
license holder.

Siddhi Kabra

Location: Guwahati, Assam
With a post graduate qualification (MSc) in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Loughborough University (UK) and her graduate studies from Ashoka University, Sonipat. She is also associated with the International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP).

Unique Approach: With her extensive experience in healthcare, human resources, and competitive sports, she understands athletes’ mental and physical challenges. Siddhi employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in her practice. By integrating these therapeutic approaches, she provides athletes with the tools they need to overcome obstacles, enhance performance, and achieve a balanced, fulfilling sporting career.

Malavika Vishwanath

Location: Bengaluru
She holds a Master of Education degree in Counseling and Sport Psychology from Boston University. With 2 years of applied experience in the field, she combines her training in mental health and performance enhancement to holistically aid in athletes’ well-being.

Unique Approach: She is clinically trained in identifying and healing eating disorders and body image issues in athletes. An Ekalavya awardee and NCAA All-American in swimming, her 15 years of elite athletic experience in India and the USA adds to her personal understanding of athletes’ experiences.

Meghana Kulkarni

Location: Mumbai
An Electrical & Electronics engineer turned into a Mindset Mentor. She is a certified sports psychology coach and a yoga practitioner.

Unique Approach: Obsessed with sports entrepreneurship and fascinated by the power of the mind, she is on a mission to bring in a paradigm shift in the Indian sporting ecosystem.

Jenai Bilimoria

Location: Mumbai
She holds a BA in Psychology, an MA in Applied Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology, and an MSc. in Sports and Exercise Psychology, demonstrating her commitment to both mental health and athletic performance enhancement.

Unique Approach: Jenai is an accomplished athlete and empathetic psychologist, seamlessly integrating her extensive tennis background with her academic proficiency in psychology. She is also a special educator

Aditi Gandhi

Location: Mumbai
With a post graduate qualification (MSc) in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Loughborough University (UK) and her graduate studies from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She is also associated with the British Association for Sport and Exercise Science (BASES).

Unique Approach: As Aditi has been an elite gymnast and student-athlete, competing consistently at the national level, allows her to integrate her experiences and knowledge in sport to support her clients.
She utilises research informed approaches in Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassionate Focused Therapy to help athletes maximise their potential.

Priyanka Prabhakar

Location: Bangalore
With an M.Phil and M.Sc in Psychology with clinical specialization she has worked as a Sports Psychologist at Sports Authority of India (SAI), Bangalore. She has worked extensively with the Indian Hockey Men & Women’s Teams during Rio Olympics 2016 & Tokyo Olympics 2020 respectively.

Unique Approach: Priyanka uses an integrated approach, weaving together systemic theory and practice, emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and body work while working with athletes.

Amruta Karkhanis Deshmukh

Location: Mumbai
Masters in Applied Psychology from University of Mumbai. Works with athletes at State, National, and International levels. Specializes in mental training for all age groups and sports.

Unique Approach: Draws from personal athletic experiences to empathize with athletes’ challenges. Blends psycho-educational and developmental strategies

Sathvik Goud

Location: Bengaluru
With a double masters in Clinical & Sports Psychology and more than 7years experience working with athletes, he has won multiple best paper awards in International conferences in sports psychology.

Unique Approach: He specializes in working with athletes who train in individual sports.His primary work is with Equestrians, Swimmers, Golfers and Sport Shooters.
